medication delivery 101 – Creativity a must

So how do you medicate a child of 10 who really doesn’t want to be medicated?

You might remember a couple of weeks ago when David was off his meds and had to go to the hospital.

Well, one solution was to put a Rittalin patch on his hip.  It is good for 9 hours.  Fine, dandy even, but what if he takes the patch off less than half way through his day? David’s ADHD redefines ADHD for most doctor’s.  Most doctor’s tell us that they have never seen a more severe case of ADHD.

Back to the drawing board, I guess.
