We are trying to get David to see more positive things in himself.
Right now, any time someone pays him a compliment he pushes it away. We want to get him to be more accepting of compliments. It also seems that when he starts doing good, he sabotages his own treatment plan. So in theory by accepting positive reinforcement we hope to stabilize parts of his treatment.
Does that make sense?
Any one have experience with this? Any tips?
Currently he has to list 5 positives about himself each day.
Sometimes, we just have to look up. Maybe if he gets used to looking up, he won’t be so down on himself all of the time. Metaphorically speaking.Tweet #fighting4answrs
